Earlier this week, TC hosted over 115 students and their families for Cougar Connections. In addition to interviews being held, there were a number of panels featuring industry professionals, alums, parents and current students.

Our freshmen culinary students along with their Grade 11 counterparts took part in a competition resembling that of the hit television show "Chopped." With just four hours to prepare a meal, the students were given whole chicken, kimchi, vanilla wafers, pork rinds and a veggie burger and needed to plan and cook an appetizer, entree and dessert. Check out some photos!

In mid-January, members of the Franklin Fire and Public Health Departments including TC alum Alisha Sullivan RN, BSN came to our Carpentry Program to deliver Stop the Bleed training.
The group spent time with Grade 10 and 12 students detailing how to limit excessive bleeding that results from workplace injuries. Demonstrations and reenactments took place as well.

Tri-County wishes to salute sophomore Gideon St. Lawrence who became the first TC student to take part in the Central District Music Festival in Worcester. Gideon was one of 60 students to advance through auditions and onto the Mechanics Hall stage and perform five pieces along with choreography.

Tri-County is proud to salute Coach Steve LaPlante on reaching the 300-career win milestone recently. He is now in season number 20 at the helm of the varsity wrestling program.

Excellent event earlier this week as the ribbon was cut and children began playing on the pirate ship play structure at McGovern Elementary School in nearby Medway. While our Carpentry Program students posed for photos, much credit also goes to those in Auto Technology, Engineering and Plumbing for bringing this community collaboration to fruition.

Great day here on campus as Congressman Jake Auchincloss and longtime TC friend State Representative Jeff Roy paid a visit to campus to witness first hand the plethora of benefits of CTE.
