What inspired you to become a teacher, and how has your journey been so far? I've loved to teach my whole life. I started teaching my little sister math facts when she was 2 years old, and she's gone on to achieve great things. It seems like everything fell into place after that!
Can you share a fun fact about yourself that your students might not know?
I went to the Paris Olympics this summer. It was amazing!
Besides teaching at Tri-County, are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
I've been a member of TC's Equity Task Force since its inception. It's so important for all students to feel like valuable members of our Tri-County community.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of teaching?
I love to travel, learn new things, factor and spend time with my family.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to your students? Always try to be the best version of yourself. You never know what opportunities will come your way or the difference you might make in someone else's life.
