🌟This weeks Faculty Friday features Suzanne Dodakian - BSN, RN. She is one of our superstar Health Careers Instructors! 🩺👩‍⚕️ What inspired you to become a teacher, and how has your journey been so far? I was asked to teach about 20 years ago for a short period of time ( 1 year) while another teacher took a one year leave of absence. My children were young at that time so I could not commit to teaching beyond that year, but I knew I would get back to it. When my kids were a bit older I came back to teaching and absolutely LOVE teaching in a vocational school because I get to share my clinical experiences with my wonderful students. Can you share a fun fact about yourself that your students might not know? I have a wonderful husband and 3 grown children; 2 boys and a girl. I am obsessed with the Peloton. Besides teaching at Tri-County, are you involved in any extracurricular activities? Yes! I love to workout, hike, bike, play tennis and am starting to golf a bit . What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of teaching? Being with my family!! Going to the Cape on weekends. What’s one piece of advice you would give to your students? "Find enjoyment in what you do!!"🌟✨
