On Thursday 9/19 and Friday 9/20 the Culinary Arts Program was allowed the opportunity to feed veterans at Operation Stand Down's Veteran Assistance Event. Operation Stand Down is a "Hand Up not a Hand Out" Veteran organization. At this event they help veterans with Medical, Dental, Legal, Housing, Employment, and VA Benefits, and while doing all of this they fed everyone involved. Our Culinary students served 600 meals to veterans in need, as well as those serving them. We could not be more proud of how our students performed not only preparing the meals but serving them off campus using Tri-County's food truck.

Lt. Governor and Governor of RI, Director of Veteran Affairs, RI General Treasurer, Senator Whitehouse (US Senator), Members of RI VA.
