Let's take a look at some impressive accomplishments by three members of our Engineering Shop (Advanced Manufacturing) and Class of 2024. Nick Ewanchuk, Paul McLaughlin and Dylan Sullivan delivered 37 flawless parts to NASA as part of the HUNCH Project. The parts will be put to good use as they'll find their way to the International Space Station.
The HUNCH mission is to empower and inspire students through a Project-Based Learning program where high school students learn 21st century skills and have the opportunity to launch their careers through participation in the design and fabrication of real world valued products for NASA.
These students did most of their work on their own time after school hours under the watchful eye and guidance of Mr. Jeff MCall.
This was one in a long line of collaborations between TC and NASA as part of the HUNCH initiative.
