Who We Are

The Tri-County Boosters serve as the fundraising arm of the Tri-County Athletic Department. Unlike the often multiple parent organizations in many other schools that support specific sports, the Boosters support the entire Tri-County athletic program.

Membership is open to all Tri-County alumni, parents, and support­ers from throughout the Tri-County community at three levels — Member, Booster, and Patron. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month during the school year at the Administrative Conference room.

What We Do:

Working closely with Tri-County’s Athletic Director, the TCB provides support at numerous sport and school events throughout the school year. While fundraising activities vary from year to year, TCB members have long been known as the “Cougar House people” for their work running the con­cession stand at home football games and various other sports events held on our athletic fields throughout the Fall and Spring sports seasons.

Additionally, Boosters is responsible for operating the Cougar Corner Store located on the second level floor of the school’s cafeteria.  Depending on the volunteers’ schedule, the store is open one-to-two days during school lunch periods.  The store is also open during parent orientation nights, Open Houses, Parent/Teacher meetings and other school events.  During Cheer and Wrestling competitions, we combine the concession stand and store items in the gym lobby.  Parents, students and TC staff can purchase T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, PJ pants, hats, lanyards and more!

How YOU Can Support the Tri-County Athletic Program:

Time is a valuable commodity for all of us. This is the most important request made of TCB members. Regardless of the time you have available, you can be a Tri-County Booster. Tri-County has long prided itself on the fact that it is one of the very few schools in the area, which does not charge an athletic fee. Without your assistance and support we wouldn’t exist – and the Athletic Program at Tri-County would be far more expensive to operate.

Boosters work both continuously and diligently throughout the year to promote and enhance the Tri-County athletic program. We do so through various fundraising events such as:

  • Homecoming Dance

  • Concession Stand-Indoor and Outdoor

  • Cougar Store

  • Raffles-Annual Fall Turkey Shoots and Winter Scratch Ticket Board

Even if you are unable to attend our meetings, but you want to be involved in some small way, please feel free to share your name and email and we can keep you updated on dates and times that we may need assistance at a dance, at the football game concession stand, or in the TC Cougar Corner Store.  Or interested parents can volunteer to simply donate items for our concession stand. 

The Tri-County Boosters’ Athletic Scholarship:

The Tri-County Boosters offers a scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors who are in good academic standing and participated in 2 or more sports programs for a minimum of 3 years or 7 athletic seasons.  Scholarship applications can be obtained by clicking on the link in the title or by picking them up in the Guidance Department.  The deadline for scholarship applications is April 26th.
