Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School is excited to offer the following summer camp programs.
All camps will be held at Tri-County High School, 147 Pond St. Franklin, MA.

This weeklong or three-day camp exposes students to graphic design fundamentals applied to various print materials. Your adventures will begin in Adobe Photoshop with basic image manipulation, followed by drawing in Adobe Illustrator and finally design & layout in Adobe InDesign. Students may also create an interactive media project to wrap all their newfound skills together. Campers will take home their custom-made T-shirt, water bottles, and personal calendar!
Every day, campers will prepare foods and bake goods around a theme. Students will take home several goodies during their introduction to culinary arts! Included in the camp is the craft of gardening. Campers will spend time each day experiencing how to grow food and identify which plants thrive in our New England environment.
Participants will gain knowledge in hair, skin, and nail care in this fun and interactive camp! Working on both mannequins and partner campers, students will practice hair shampooing and styling using tools in our professional learning lab. Keeping the focus age-appropriate, both nail polish and make-up application will be experienced.
This one-week camp is packed with activities and projects for kids who love computers and technology! Throughout the week, campers learn about the inner workings of a computer, programming using the Raspberry Pi and Arduino and basic Web Design. Campers will have the opportunity to build and code their very own Robot. Friday, we will host our Battle of the Bots competition where students can show off their robots’ designs and functionality and share their Bot’s website.
This camp is designed for any student who ever wondered what it is like to work in the dental office. Campers will make their our own toothpaste; take impressions, both digitally and conventionally; use dental units for polishing teeth and rinsing on mannequins; and even take x-rays using our mannequin Dexter! The anatomy of the tooth will be explored through projects. Students will participate in experiments to answer that age-old question, “does flossing actually do anything?” Get ready to say ahhhh!!
CNC= Computer Numerical Control! Campers will connect hands-on learning to computer-based application using the equipment in our manufacturing center. Students will design and build their own unique product to take home using a variety of materials and innovative CNC machine techniques used in many industries today. Students are required to wear safety glasses in the camp.*Tri-County will supply your student with safety glasses.
Campers will learn how to safely use various hand and power tools in the carpentry shop. Students will build several small projects that they can take home including a bird house, tool box, foot stool and a small shelf! Safety glasses, long pants, and close-toes shoes or boots are required for this camp. *Tri-County will supply your student with safety glasses.
